Introduction

I am Wanda June Arnold, born and raise in the Southwestern part of Arkansas with my parents and three sisters.  We were raise on a "saw-mill worker's salary". My parents raise a garden every year which we got a lot of our meals from. My father was also a fisherman and hunters which provided fish, squirrels, deers, and coons when it was the seasons for them.

Hobbies

I have a lot of hobbies. I love to quilt, sew, crochet, knit, collect books about our leaders and their families, actors and actress, singers, and our news persons that brings us our daily news. Genealogy is one of my biggest passion, which allow me to collect old pictures of my love ones that gone before us on this earth.

Interests

Set me in front of a good old Western Movie, I am happy. I love collecting and watching Western Movies and the little 30 minutes to an hour TV Western Shows. If I need a pick-me-up, I will pull out my collections of "I Love Lucy", "Andy Grifftin Show", "Leave it to Beaver", "Mr. Ed", "Cheers", "Married with Children", "Three a Company", just to name a few. "Columbo", Dr. Quine", "Dr" , "Perry Mason", "Law & Order", and other TV's shows like these are some of the shows that catch my interest. TV's shows and DVD's movies are not my only interests but I will add more later.

Education

I graduated from Gurdon Arkansas High School in 1974.  I enrolled in New Mexico State University - Grants NM. May 9, 2008, I will complete my Associate in Applied Science Degree, and Associate of General Studies Degree along with two certificates in Computers. I major in Web Mastery.  Fall of 2008 I was transfer to ENMU in Portales NM where I  continue my education and major in Religious. I love to study and I received my Bachelor Degree in General Studies at Eastern New Mexico University .  Before NMSU, I completed several courses through the mail: "Photography", "Small Business", and "Doll Making".

Occupation

I consider my education as my occupation at the time I was enrolled in college since I was a full-time student.  I had started "June Bug Gifts and Crafts" back in Arkansas selling SMC's products which never got off the grounds. After moving to New Mexico, I started "June Bug Photography" which did not last long, I have change the name of my photography's business to Wanda Lou, The Photographer. I love taking pictures of weddings, birthday parties, special events, graduations, and such.

Community Service

December 2005 June Bug's Helping Hands were started by me. It is operated by volunteers and donations from folks like you.  The following year (2006) June Bug's Helping Hands provided 55 needy Children with Christmas gifts.  December 2007 we provided 169 children with Christmas.  The year (2008) the name have change to Wanda Lou's Helping Hands since there is already a June Bug Helping Hands somewhere in Ca.  We cover four of Grants, Milan, and Bluewater's Elementary Schools plus Reberta Place (Batter Women and children), Unwed Mother and their little ones, Mosic, Futhure Foundation, and the Health Department. After moving from Milan, I had to drop the Wanda Lou Helping Hands because lack of funds and volunteers.

Clubs

Since we moved to Milan, New Mexico, I have become a member of a few  different clubs.  Let names them: Milan Mad Red Hatters which I am their Red Royal Snapper (their photographer), and   Mt. Taylor Quilt Guild which I am their photographer.  It is not a club, but I go with the Immanuel Baptist Church in Milan on their monthly day out which we been to Arizona and Co, plus several places in New Mexico. That gave me a chance to photograph a lot of New Mexico that other wise I would not been able to do.  Another place I am a member of is Cibola Co. Council and 66 Art Gallery where I have a couple of my pictures hanging for displace until I moved from Milan. I had some of my different pictures displayed there since I join. When I moved, I pick up my pictures.
